welcome back to the luscious nectar show. pardon the mess here as we are still rounding off some of the corners. though all the minor details are still a work in process, the new digs are taking in rave reviews. hi fives, hand slaps, knuckle thumps and shoulder bumps all around. it’s so awesome to have such a loyal collection of nectarites. nothing but smiles were on display this weekend. and big ups to all the nectar family members who made this reopening a successful reality. the only unfortunate detail was that we weren’t able to let everyone in. as we’ve learned, the capacity limit is nothing to funk with. the solution? come down earlier yo!

so what’s so special about the new digs? well aside from the obvious larger capacity level for awesome and the always tasty infused spirits and mixed luschies, there is the new menu supported by one killer chef. yum! seriously, the new food is crazy good.
also there is a fabulous collection of new artwork. from front to back, bottom to top, there is simply a divine display (thanks taylor). this weekend i played my usual Friday night gig, but i also got a chance to play for taylor’s art show on Saturday. as i’ve commented a few times already in these posts, i really enjoy the art gigs, and this one was no exception. thanks to all who came out for the new art showing. if you missed it, well shame on you. however, you will be quickly forgiven if you stop by this weekend as tayor’s art is still on display.
even though this Friday is Christmas day, I’ll still be spinning the chunes. so if you need a break from the fam, or simply want to dance off the holiday ham, strap on some shoes, grab a drink and get loose. and again, stay tuned for some details about the nectar new years eve party.
